Friends of Colorado Lagoon (FOCL) is a community organization committed to the restoration and preservation of this valuable resource in our city. We are continuously learning about the role of the Lagoon in the history of Long Beach--from its ecological richness and recreational chronology to poignant narratives about personal experiences. We count on our community members to provide us with their own memories and knowledge to contribute to the Colorado Lagoon archives we are creating. How To Get There:
From the 405 North or South,
Take 7th St. / 22 West Exit.
From 7th St. turn Left on Park Ave.
Turn Left onto East Appian Way.
There is residential parking not far from the Lagoon, and metered parking right next to the beach.
