 Friends of Colorado Lagoon (FOCL) is a community organization committed to the restoration and preservation of this valuable resource in our city. We are continuously learning about the role of the Lagoon in the history of Long Beach--from its ecological richness and recreational chronology to poignant narratives about personal experiences. We count on our community members to provide us with their own memories and knowledge to contribute to the Colorado Lagoon archives we are creating. We look forward to having our “Friends” share their experiences with us.
